We are honored to invite you and your students to the 3rd Open SKIF Karate Seminar, featuring
Sensei Hiyori Kanazawa from Tokyo, Japan. The event will be hosted by DOSHINKAI Dojo on
September 20–21, 2025, at Aikido of Cincinnati, located at 6620 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati,
OH 45213.

Sensei Hiyori Kanazawa is the granddaughter of the legendary Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa,
founder of the Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation (SKIF), and the daughter of Kancho
Nobuaki Kanazawa, a two-time world champion and instructor at Hombu Dojo in Japan. This
marks her first teaching visit to Cincinnati, and the seminar is open to all karateka—adults, teens,
and youth, regardless of style or affiliation.

We are confident that this seminar will offer an enriching and supportive experience for you and
your students. We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the true spirit of Karate-do.

Training Schedule
Saturday, September 20th:

• 11:00 am – 11:15 am: Check-in
• 11:15 am – 12:45 pm: All ranks – Kihon and Kumite
• 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Advanced (Brown and Black Belts) – Kata: SKIF Gojushiho-Dai &
  Gankaku Sho
• 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm: Dan Examination

Sunday, September 21st:

• 10:00 am – 10:15 am: Check-in
• 10:15 am – 12:00 pm: Advanced (Brown and Black Belts) – Advanced Kumite
• 1:15 pm – 2:45 pm: All ranks – Kata
• 2:45 pm – 3:00 pm: Closing

All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
